Allow cachebusting URLs
I use updown to check a url that is behind a caching CDN. If the origin server goes offline, real users making requests for new URLs will see errors, but I will not be notified of downtime: the updown check will still succeed since the URL it is checking has been cached.
I'd like the ability to add a random string to a URL each time it is checked, so that requests bust through the cache and check that both the CDN and origin server are online

Make a warning icon appear when an SSL is within the 30 days expiry
Make a warning icon appear on the. main checks page when an SSL is within the 30 days expiry. Ive just added a site now to test your system and it expires in 6 days time, so its missed the 30. 14 and 7 and its not drawing my attention to the fact it needs renewing very quickly.

prometheus integration
I saw that a Grafana plugin was suggested and I am all for it, but even better might be a Prometheus integration. Prometheus pulls the data in and stores it. Once it's in Prometheus it can be displayed in Grafana pretty easily. I suspect that since there is already an API for updown it's just a matter of making the two systems data connect but that's a bit out of my grasp to do it myself.

Display days to expire in listing
Adding a column that shows the days to cert expiration would be so handy. Also, if/when you succeed with the domain expire project, another column showings days til domain expiration again would be useful for me. Possibly these are optional columns for those that want in their display grid?

Still cannot prevent an updown.io check from following redirects
I raised this same issue under this discussion almost two years - unfortunately it's been completely ignored: https://updown.uservoice.com/forums/177972-general/suggestions/38068798-add-the-ability-to-disable-following-redirects.
I've worked around this in the past but it's starting to cause problems again, so I'm raising it again and this time I'll expand on the specifics of the problem I'm having.
I run web services from behind Cloudflare. When you set up Cloudflare for proxying, you provide your backend DNS entries to them and enable proxying. They'll then create public facing DNS entries for you that point to Cloudflare, and proxy connections through to your backend. For this, Cloudflare automatically…

Add the ability to disable following redirects
Currently updown.io will follow 302 redirects when checking if a service is up. In the
curl
commands that are emailed when downtime is detected, this is achieved via the-L
flag. It would be good if this could be disabled, so that the actual endpoint given is tested and not the endpoint at the end of the 302(s).An example of when this might be useful: I have a few endpoints that simply 302 to another endpoint, which I don't maintain / own / have any control over. I'm less interested in whether those endpoints are up, and more interested…

read only dashboard with passwd
Hello!
Would be very very interesting to have a restricted read only dashboard with all our monitored webs protected with user password.
It can be very good to give to our bosses or clients, and not being worry about they changing any config.
Today, I make a simple excel dashboard getting times with the API because I dont have this.
Thank you!! :-)1 vote -
Add optional password access to public status page
It would be great to have the option to add secure the public status page with a password. Could be as simple as a htpasswd.

Add an alias / label for each SMS number
Having the ability to set an "alias" for each SMS number would be very helpful.
For example, I would like to add a label for SMS +1 5551234567 that reads "Marc's mobile", that way I can easily see who will receive which notifications.

I would like to do checks of backlinks with updown. Its more than enough to check them once a day not every hour.
