299 votesJul 2021 update: the feature is now released for everyone to see! (and it supports custom domain now)
Checkout the announcement here: https://headwayapp.co/updown-changelog/multi-site-status-pages-200041

Other types of check: Ping, SSH, DNS, etc.
This would allow a more precise monitoring of other pieces of infrastructure.

You can even check for SSH using a TCP check on port 22 + string match “SSH” -
Status page on own domain
A way to integrate it into my site (similar to statuspage) so I can go to status.mysite.com and see a version of the public status page.
16 votesThis is now done!
You can have you status page under your own subdomain with a simple CNAME.
How to: https://updown.io/public-status -
Public statuspage
A public (configurable/branded) overview page. Like statuspage.io, but than the updown.io way :-)
Maybe with a cname option?
3 votesHey, I’m not sure if you noticed but there are already status pages per URL, ex: https://updown.io/ngg8
You can access it simply by clicking your check’s URL in your dashboard and you can make it public using the toggle at the top (default is private)
CNAME support is in the roadmap but low priority. -
More points of presence
It would be good to have more PoPs, especially in regions not yet covered like Asia.
9 votesWe just added Singapore & San Francisco. Check out our current PoPs here: https://updown.io/about

Basic webhooks
It would be nice to have webhooks. It's quite common to have them in services that emit notifications. It's a great simple way to hook up some third-party services. Since it's a simple URL to "ping" it's not as coupled and hard to do as proper integrations.

Integrates with statuspage.io
Provides integration with statuspage.io, so your status page is updated automatically when updown detects an issue.
30 votesThe implementation has just been deployed, you can link your status page from your settings to automatically update component status and/or show metrics on your status page. Please give it a try and let me know your feedback.

Support multiple recipients
Would be great to support at least a coma separated list of email.
So that I can notify several person, use fallback email, use sms/external notification (flowdock, chat, Nexmo ...), currently this is a bit tricky to use for a team without at least a ML setup. Maybe the first Corporate feature :)
1 voteThis is now implemented :)

Periodic email report
Would be nice to have a periodic (weekly / monthly ?) email with uptimes for all websites.
6 votesWeekly report added.

Define which errors are real errors
In some cases, a 302 might not be an error, so an ability to give a whitelist would be great.

Account sharing (company)
A company could create one account and add coworkers to it. People would still authenticate using github or google auth. It may use google apps / github company to automatically create/suggest company accounts.
12 votesEmail/password login is now deployed! And you can add a password to your existing OAuth account in a few clicks, from the Sign in page.
