Jul 2021 update: the feature is now released for everyone to see! (and it supports custom domain now)

    Checkout the announcement here: https://headwayapp.co/updown-changelog/multi-site-status-pages-200041

Here is the demo multi-site status page: https://demo.updown.io

For the record it is still possible to use our read-only API key to build truly custom status page or dashboard in javascript if you need something different.

Here are some example custom status page made by our users that you could start from:
    https://github.com/nya1/updown-status-page
    https://github.com/Hexstream/status.abc.hexstream.xyz
    https://github.com/SocialGouv/dashlord
    https://github.com/MTES-MCT/updownio-action

  2. Localized public status page

It would be great to provide localized versions of status page based on user agent language (i.e. russian, german etc.)

  3. Allow using POST method for monitoring

I’d like to switch to monitoring my API endpoint with updown.io, but the primary endpoint uses POST. Being able to provide custom headers is certainly nice, but being able to customize the request further (i.e. method and submitted content) would be much nicer. Site24x7 which I’m using now lets you provide form data and even check returned value for specific JSON fields.

  4. Microsoft Teams integration (not via 3rd party)

Sending messages through a third party is not that great and imho should not be necessary for a large service like MS Teams.

  7. Alert if SSL certificate is revoked

At the moment a revoked certificate will show an error on browsers, but will show as "up" by updown.io

I was affected by the following, and didn't receive any notification when the site was inaccessible

This has been deployed yesterday! updown.io now detects revoked certificates, as long as they support OCSP. In case of error with the OCSP test, your certificate will stay valid but a warning will be visible in the certificate tooltip.

  8. Custom domain page with SSL

Public status page with custom domain and free SSL certificate (using Let's Encrypt).

  9. New "Hidden" status between Private and Public

I'm really needing a "hidden" status for pages, for them to be shareable (to client ..).

Exactly on the same model that Gdrive/Gsuite :

Private > For your eyes Only

Public > Shareable to the world. Can be linked on a public website. Can be found and indexed by google (and you have a lot .. https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Aupdown.io

Hidden > Only for people who know the URL, to be shared internally. With a long hash key in url that cannot be bruteforced, with meta no index , cannot be indexed by google.

(YES, one could find the url if they hack…

The implementation has just been deployed, you can link your status page from your settings to automatically update component status and/or show metrics on your status page. Please give it a try and let me know your feedback.

  11. OpsGenie integration

It would be great to have integration with OpsGenie. This would enable escalation of alerts and use their service to send the alert to the on-call colleague.

  12. TCP certificate expiry checks

Updown is great for HTTPS checks - loving the cert expiry warnings, and I can also check my mailserver with the TCP checks.

I would like to also check the cert validity on a non-HTTPS ports. (i.e. IMAPS or SMTPS. I'm not asking for any understanding of the protocol for non HTTP(S) ports, just connect and do cert checks.)

  16. Basic webhooks

It would be nice to have webhooks. It's quite common to have them in services that emit notifications. It's a great simple way to hook up some third-party services. Since it's a simple URL to "ping" it's not as coupled and hard to do as proper integrations.

  17. Add button to fire example webhook to added webhook URL

Pretty simple, when you add a webhook there should be a "test" button which fires an example event to the webhook URL so the user can test it to ensure it works.

A way to integrate it into my site (similar to statuspage) so I can go to status.mysite.com and see a version of the public status page.

Lower check frequency for sites that just have to be online, but nothing relies on them. (ex: 1h)

I like the slack integration but my team is using hipchat.
I'd like to see the same integration with this tool.
